Description

A casting process that goes from the construction of a model in metal, producing the mold and its reproduction. Lost wax casting is a reproduction technique for serial production.

Goals

To make pieces in brass or/and silver using the technique at small scale from an original model.

Contents

Obtaining the vulcanized mold, wax injection, tree making, calculation of the necessary metal weight, preparation of the cylinder lining, casting and injection of the metal for its subsequent revision and finishing.
The models are made in wax, in organic materials that carbonize well or using plastic objects. This model will be the basis to be able to serialize from a small number of pieces to a large quantity with the greatest possible fidelity.

    Monday to Thursday from 10am to 2pm.
    Monday & Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
    You can start at any time of the year from September to July.
    Limited places, check availability of dates and times.

    Christmas Holidays, Easter week and Summer Holidays (from July 28th to September 17th) is closed.
