Etching

Engraving consists of removing material from the metal. In this way, lines can be “drawn” on the surface of the metal. An acid is used, known as a mordant, which attacks the metal and corrodes or dissolves the exposed parts, achieving different degrees of depth, depending on how long the piece remains in acid.

Obtain a tool to decorate surfaces, which is economical and fast, achieving very beautiful finishes. You will learn to apply the decorative element in various ways and to engrave a piece of metal with different depths.You will also learn to work the corresponding acid for each metal, its way of acting and its correct and safe use.

  12 hours course (3 classes of 4h.)
  From 1 to 3 classes/week.

• Schedule:
  Monday to Thursday from 10am to 2pm.
  Monday & Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
  You can start at any time of the year from September to July.
  Limited places, check availability of dates and times.

  Summer Holidays (from July 24th to September 13th 2026), Christmas Holidays (from December 18th 2026 to January 10th 2027) and Easter week (from March 19th to 29th 2027) the school is closed
