Kum Boo

For people with knowledge of jewelry techniques with the aim of increasing his/her skills.

Weldingless metal joining technique. Keum-bo or Kum bu is a decorative application of Korean origin, which consists of joining thin sheets of pure gold on the surface of silver objects.

To make pieces with materials composed of different metals without the use of soldering, obtaining unique author jewels.

Preparation of the material, fusing the gold foil with the use of heat and friction on a finished piece.

  12 hours course (3 classes of 4h.)
  From 1 to 3 classes/week.

• Schedule:
  Monday to Thursday from 10am to 2pm.
  Monday & Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
  You can start at any time of the year from September to July.
  Limited places, check availability of dates and times.

  Summer Holidays (from July 24th to September 13th 2026), Christmas Holidays (from December 18th 2026 to January 10th 2027) and Easter week (from March 19th to 29th 2027) the school is closed.
