Everything starts with fire. Lighting the fire symbolizes creation per excellence. The fire melts with its heat the metal in the crucible; it is the beginning of alchemy, the door to the magic and beauty of creating a jewel.
The name Sacador de fuego refers to the person that takes the pieces out of the fire. The Sacador de fuego is a person who develops, elaborates and finalizes a jewel. The general course is an extensive and precise training to obtain a broad knowledge of the basic and related techniques of jewellery making. It is a path of initiation to the artisan trade of the goldsmith.
